Ecuador's violence surges as Noboa hires controversial military contractor

Violence in Ecuador continues to spiral, with Guayaquil at the center of deadly attacks. A recent massacre left 22 people dead, followed by a car bomb explosion this week. In response, President Daniel Noboa has made a controversial decision—bringing in a military contractor to curb the unrest.
