Gaza deal ‘very close,’ Trump says

President Donald Trump said a Gaza hostages-for-ceasefire deal is “very close” after receiving a note at a roundtable on antifa in Washington, D.C.

"I was just given a note by the secretary of state saying that we're very close to a deal in the Middle East, and they're going to need me pretty quickly," Trump told reporters in the room.

Trump also said he may travel to Egypt this weekend as his negotiators seek to seal a deal, while Israeli strikes on Gaza continue.
