Drones: How big is the threat to German security? | DW News

Police in Germany will soon be allowed to shoot down drones that are violating German airspace. The cabinet agreed to the law after drones caused disruptions to airports across Europe. The legislation still requires parliamentary approval. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has suggested Russia is behind the interference.
