Grooming gang survivor says national inquiry must continue

A grooming gangs survivor who is part of the national inquiry into the scandal has told Sky News the process must continue.

Samantha Walker-Roberts, who was abused in Oldham from the age of 12, has also backed Jess Phillips - amid calls for the Safeguarding Minister to resign.

Ms Walker-Roberts is one of five survivors on the panel who say they'll only remain part of the process if Ms Phillips also stays in post.

It comes after the inquiry was left in disarray this week after several other survivors resigned, critical of the Government's handling of the process.
