Tanzania elections: Government orders curfew after protests erupt

Tanzania’s government has ordered a dusk to dawn curfew in Dar es Salaam - and called on people to stay at home after thousands demonstrators took to the streets across the country against Wednesday’s general elections. Polling stations have been ransacked and set on fire as protests erupted in at least six towns and cities.

Al Jazeera’s Malcolm Webb reports.
