On-screen locations driving rise in ‘set-jetting’ tourism | BBC News

Film and TV production is driving one of the fastest growing sectors in tourism.

What are known as ‘set-jetting’ individuals are travelling to visit locations they’ve seen in movies.

As a result, location managers – the people who play a pivotal role in selecting where TV shows and films are shot – are becoming increasingly important.
