Climate change threatens Mexico’s traditional Day of the Dead flower

Cempasuchil flowers, also known as the Mexican marigold, have been farmed for generations and take the spotlight every year in the Mexico's Day of the Dead celebrations. But cempasuchil growers say they’ve been left reeling by torrential rains, stretching drought and other impacts from climate change that have grown increasingly common.
