UN is needed in Sudan 'to monitor violations' after abuses allegedly from RSF • FRANCE 24 English

As concerns over a humanitarian crisis in Darfur are growing, the RSF paramilitary announced it had arrested fighters accused of abuses in El-Fasher. 'We need UN presence on ground to monitor these violations and the need to ensure protection of civilians' Kashif Shafique, Country director at Relief International Sudan, tells Erin.
