Nine people sustained life-threatening injuries in a series of stabbings on a train near Cambridge in eastern England on Saturday, leading to the arrest of two men in what Prime Minister Keir Starmer described as an “appalling incident.” British Transport Police said that counterterrorism officers are assisting in the investigation as authorities work to determine the full circumstances and motive behind the attack.
