Dick Cheney on 9/11 response at Veterans Day ceremony two months after attacks
Then-U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney promised victory in the war on terrorism at a Veterans Day ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery two months to the day after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001.
He died Tuesday at age 84, according to a statement from his family.
