Gaza's Netzarim corridor: Israeli forces retake area that divides strip

The death toll in Gaza is mounting every hour. At least 60 Palestinians were killed on Wednesday, many of them women and children. A foreign UN worker is among the dead. The US State Department says the window is closing fast for a ceasefire to be agreed on—and now the Is-raeli military has announced it has resumed its ground offensive in Central and Southern Gaza. They've also retaken control of the Netzarim corridor—effectively splitting the strip and the Palestinians living there.
