German Chancellor Merz confirmes Germany's commitment to international climate efforts | DW News

Leaders meeting at the UN climate conference in Brazil have pledged billions to protect the world's forests. Officials say major changes are needed if the agreed goals are to be met. Germany has made some progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions, although it remains one of Europe's biggest CO2 emitters.
