Deadly Brazil police raid failed to capture or kill gang leaders

The police raid, known as Operation Containment, resulted in 121 deaths, including four officers and two teenagers, but failed to capture or kill any senior leaders of the Comando Vermelho gang. Only five of the 69 suspects named in the criminal complaint were arrested, and none were top leaders.
