Sky News speaks to a man accused of witchcraft as a child and blamed for killing his mother
Mardoche Yembi was 10-years-old when he was accused of killing his mother and baby sister and forced to admit he was a witch. He'd moved to the UK two years earlier, after his mother's death in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
He was settling into life in a new country when a relative having bad dreams sought the advice of a pastor who claimed the dreams were the result of Kindoki, a Congolese term for witchcraft, and said Mardoche was to blame. His story has been detailed in a new film.
Mardoche, alongside the films' director Penny Woolcock, speak to Sky's Sarah-Jane Mee about his experience and why he wanted to share his story on the big screen.
