Judge refuses to suspend Lucy Letby inquiry

Lucy Letby's lawyers have failed in their bid to pause the statutory inquiry into how the former nurse was able to murder seven infants at the Countess of Chester Hospital and attempt to murder others.

It comes after her lawyers applied for a review of her case as a "potential miscarriage of justice" by the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) after two failed bids at the Court of Appeal.
