Is the US closer to taking military action against Venezuela? | DW News

Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro has criticized joint naval exercises between US and Trinidad and Tobago that are set to begin this weekend. The drills come as part of a US military buildup in the Caribbean and follow a string of illegal strikes on vessels it claims are smuggling drugs. In his address to supporters, Maduro also left aside the usual rhetoric and took a different — more musical —approach.
