Nigeria intensifies search for 25 abducted schoolgirls
Nigeria’s military has launched a full-scale search for 25 schoolgirls abducted from a boarding school in Kebbi State after gunmen stormed the campus before dawn on Monday. They killed the vice principal and fled with the students. Nigeria’s government says the army is combing nearby forests as the hunt intensifies, with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu demanding their safe return.
