Israel ramps up attacks on Gaza amid severing of aid | DW News

Israel has carried out deadly airstrikes and deployed troops into Gaza, while Hamas has responded with rocket fire. Palestinians face increasingly dire conditions as they struggle to find shelter and cope with the overwhelming number of dead and injured. Air raid sirens sounded in Israel after the military reported shooting down a missile launched from Yemen. Iran-backed Houthi rebels there resumed their attacks on Israel following the collapse of the ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza two days ago.
