Nigeria abduction: More than 300 students kidnapped in Niger State

More than 300 students and teachers have been abducted from a Catholic boarding school in Nigeria’s western Niger State-- in what’s now one of the worst mass kidnappings the country has ever recorded, surpassing even the Chibok schoolgirls abduction of 2014. The attack is part of a surge in school kidnappings across northern Nigeria, and authorities have now ordered dozens of schools to shut.
