Do Gen Z and Gen Alpha care about Atari? | BBC News

Atari CEO Wade Rosen admits that the retro gaming brand can give "Nirvana t-shirt energy" when it comes to a younger generation of people.

He feels this nostalgia, and the fact the iconic brand has earned a place in popular culture, has given Atari the right to a place in people's homes, with the release of their new handheld, the Atari Gamestation Go.

He also gives his thoughts on the competition of illegal emulators and why he thinks gamers will always return to physical media.
