'We are dealing with terrorists' says Israeli ambassador to the UK

Israel's ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely has told Sky News that Israel has "no other choice" than to "put pressure on a terror organisation". She says that "we are not dealing with a nice British government. We are dealing with terrorists".

Speaking to Sky's Sophy Ridge about the recent Israeli strikes in Gaza, Ms Hotovely, says that "Israel never targets civilians" and that "we are at a point where Hamas uses these people as human shields".

In response to Foreign Secretary David Lammy saying it is "difficult to see" how Israel denying aid to Gaza can be compatible with international law, Ms Hotovely says Israel stands "totally in line" with international humanitarian law.
