Heavy fighting in Khartoum as Sudanese army retakes presidential palace

After nearly two years of intense fighting, the Sudanese army has successfully retaken control of the Presidential Palace in Khartoum, marking a major victory in its ongoing battle against the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The army has stated that it will continue its push westward towards the RSF’s stronghold, aiming to further weaken the group's presence in the capital.
