Pope Leo XIV in Turkiye: Christian leaders pledge to set common Easter date

The leaders of the Roman Catholic Church and Orthodox churches have pledged to advance talks to set a common date for the Christian celebration of Easter. Pope Leo and Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew declared what they called 'a shared desire' in a joint statement.
