Sudan's army says it has recaptured the presidential palace in the capital Khartoum | DW News

The Sudanese army says it has recaptured the presidential palace in the capital Khartoum. After days of heavy fighting, the army swept through the city in an attempt to push back the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. Videos posted on social media appear to show soldiers celebrating inside the palace. An army leader has described the apparent takeover as a 'crowning achievement.' The RSF has now responded, claiming that the battle for the palace is 'not over yet.'
