Chancellor facing storm of criticism and calls to resign after 'black hole' controversy
Speaking to Sky News, The Chancellor said did not mislead the public about the state of the country's finances in the build-up to her budget.
On Wednesday, Rachel Reeves announced a number of tax rises in a bid to plug a blackhole in public finances, raising £26 billion.
However, forecasts made public by the OBR show the black hole was not there, and now, reports have emerged that the Prime Minister's office had also been aware of these economic forecasts.
