British MP says she's caught in 'Kafkaesque nightmare' after Bangladesh conviction
Bangladesh's anti-corruption prosecutor has told Sky News the trial of British Labour MP Tulip Siddiq was "very fair".
Ms Siddiq was found guilty in absentia of using her influence over her aunt, Sheikh Hasina, the country's former prime minister, to illegally secure plots of land for her family members in the suburbs of the capital, Dhaka.
The former minister told Sky News she felt like she was caught in a 'Kafkaesque nightmare'.
