How does Trump's pardoning of Hernandez fit with his supposed war against 'narco terrorists'?
Former Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernandez has been released from a US prison after being pardoned by Donald Trump.
Hernandez was serving a 45-year sentence in the US for trafficking cocaine. Trump described the conviction as a "Biden administration set-up." Hernandez, who was in office from 2014 until 2022, has always denied his conviction for importing some 400 tons of cocaine into the US.
