Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan is being 'mentally tortured' his sister claims
Former Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan has been in jail since his August 2023 arrest after he was handed a three-year jail term for illegally selling state gifts.
After a protest outside the prison where he is being held, his sister was allowed to visit him for the first time in several weeks.
Ms Khanum said that Khan is facing isolation and psychological strain in prison following weeks in which his family said access had been blocked.
She said that they are using Imran Khan to "suppress" the people of Pakistan. "They don’t want their voice to be heard. They’re standing behind Imran khan. They thought, if they isolated him people will forget him."
