Atlantic reporter added to leaked Signal chat speaks to BBC | BBC News

Jeffrey Goldberg has told the BBC that top Trump officials who accidentally added him to a group chat discussing bombings in Yemen, should accept their mistake.

Goldberg, the editor of The Atlantic, has released the full exchange from the Signal group chat.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Wednesday "someone made a big mistake" inviting Goldberg, but he says none of the messages put the lives of service members at risk.

Goldberg spoke to the BBC's Sarah Smith about the fallout and what officials are saying about him.
