Many killed in Myanmar and over 100 missing in Bangkok following powerful earthquake

At least 144 people have been killed and over 700 injured in Myanmar following a powerful earthquake.

Neighbouring Thailand was also rocked by the 7.7 magnitude quake, with nine people killed in the capital Bangkok, including eight workers who died after a 33-storey skyscraper, which had been under construction, collapsed. More than 100 people are also missing.
