Bangkok high-rise residents fear returning home after powerful quake | DW News

With the death toll in neighboring Myanmar still rising, rescue efforts to find survivors of a collapsed skyscraper in Bangkok were still underway on Saturday.

Many residents, especially those living in high-rise condos, say they're afraid to go home. Local authorities have received at least 2,000 reports of damages in buildings and say they will run structural checks in the coming days.
