Hundreds of thousands rally against Erdogan in Turkey | DW News

Hundreds of thousands rallied against President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his government in Turkey on Saturday.

Massive demonstrations sparked by the jailing of popular opposition leader and Istanbul mayor Ekrem Imamoglu have been taking place for more than a week.

Hundreds of people have been arrested over the protests, which are the largest Turkey has seen in more than a decade, including several journalists.
