Israeli strikes overnight into Sunday killed at least 19 people, mostly women and children, health officials said. At least 16 people were killed in the southern city of Khan Younis, including nine children and three women, according to Nasser Hospital. Two of the children, young girls, appeared to be wearing new clothes purchased for the holiday, according to a camera operator of The Associated Press.
