Miracle rescue: woman pulled from rubble 91 hours after Myanmar’s devastating earthquake | BBC News
A 63-year-old woman has been rescued from the rubble in Myanmar’s capital Naypyidaw. However hopes are fading of finding many more survivors almost five days after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake devastated the country.
More than 2,700 people are known to have died with many thousands more left homeless and without food and shelter.
Aid groups say there’s an urgent need for food and water across large parts of the country, but civil war is preventing help reaching many desperate communities.
Jane Hill presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Anna Foster and Nick Beake.
