NATO FMs meet as US reaffirms alliance commitment

NATO Foreign Ministers gathered in Brussels to discuss defence spending and growing global threats. The US reiterated its unwavering support for the alliance, with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte calling Washington’s commitment the “bedrock” of NATO's security. Rutte emphasized the need for greater military preparedness and warned that Russia remains the biggest threat to the alliance. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio echoed the concerns, urging member states to bolster their defence budgets and stay vigilant.
