USAID cuts hit Myanmar relief operation | DW News

The military regime in Myanmar says more than 3,000 people are now known to have been killed in last week's devastating earthquake. China and Russia have made significant contributions to the disaster relief operation. But there's been a notable absence of support from the United States, where President Donald Trump has dismantled the federal agency responsible for overseas aid.
