Israeli strike kills dozens at school in Gaza

The Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says an Israeli strike has killed at least 27 people at a school in Gaza City. Israel says it was targeting a Hamas control centre and had intended to minimise civilian casualties.

The school was a place of shelter for hundreds of families, and doctors expect the death toll to rise.
