One of Russia's deadliest missile strikes this year hit President Zelenskyy’s hometown | DW News

A deadly Russian missile strike hit Kryvyi Rih, President Zelenskyy’s hometown, killing at least 18 people, including 9 children, and leaving more than 60 injured. The strike also damaged 20 buildings and over 30 vehicles. While Russia claims to have targeted a military gathering, U.S. and European leaders continue pressing for a ceasefire. The following day, Ukrainian drones targeted an industrial facility in Russia's Mordovia, according to the regional governor.
