Macron warns 'surrender' of Ukraine for peace would project US weakness | DW News

Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron held talks at the White House on Monday. Macron said France aims to build a long-lasting peace and that Europe is ready to be a stronger partner to the US and to step up on defense. Trump said there was progress towards ending the fighting in Ukraine.
