Tehran sceptical ahead of upcoming US-Iran nuclear talks

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran's stance against building nuclear weapons during a speech marking its nuclear achievements. He criticised repeated accusations, inviting further inspections. The IAEA confirmed Iran has enriched uranium to 60%, still below weapons-grade. With weakened allies in the region and a major US military build-up, Iran's leverage is reduced. Despite pressure, Iran insists diplomacy is the only solution and seeks a deal to lift US sanctions. Former President Trump has warned of military action if no agreement is reached.
