'Germany is back on track': Chancellor-in-waiting Merz's message for Trump | DW News

"Germany is back on track," that was chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz's message for US President Donald Trump as he unveiled the coalition agreement for Germany's likely next government.

Merz's conservative CDU/CSU union bloc have reached a deal with the center-left Social Democratic Party (SPD) to form a government after February's general election.
