Torture in Israeli jails : Many Palestinians held without charge

Roughly 10,000 Palestinians are currently detained in Israeli prisons—many without formal charges under what Israel refers to as administrative detention. After their recent release, several detainees from Gaza and the occupied West Bank have shared testimonies of abuse, torture, and inhumane treatment while in custody. Skin infections and untreated medical conditions have become common due to unsanitary conditions and neglect.
