Mexico-US relations: Trump threatens more tariffs over water dispute

Mexico's President Claudia Shane-Baum has pledged to ensure delivery of water for Texas farmers.

That's after US President Donald Trump threatened additional tariffs or sanctions over a shared water treaty, which he says Mexico has failed to comply with.

Under the deal from 1944 the United States shares water from the Colorado River in exchange for flows from the Rio Grande, which forms part of the border between the two countries.
