Mahmoud Khalil court ruling: Judge rules activist & US resident is 'deportable'
An immigration court in Louisiana has ruled that a US permanent resident can potentially be deported for taking part in campus protests against Israel's genocide in Gaza.
The US government has provided no evidence of wrongdoing by Mahmoud Khalil, but Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, has told the presiding judge that Khalil's presence is detrimental to the US's foreign policy goals.
Al Jazeera’s Shihab Rattansi reports from outside Khalil's detention centre in Louisiana.
