Starmer warns 'everything has changed' after announcing defence spending boost

Sir Keir Starmer has announced defence spending will increase to 2.5% of GDP by 2027 - faster than the government had planned.

The prime minister spoke in a news conference later in the day, where he listed the various ways in which Russia threatens the UK's national security - justifying his reason to step up government funding for the armed forced.
