Gaza's man-made hunger crisis worsens as Israel blocks all aid for sixth week

Gaza faces catastrophic famine after six weeks of Israel’s total blockade, which has severed access to food, water, and medicine. Displaced families describe unbearable hardship, with parents unable to feed their children and markets emptied by border closures. The UN warns of imminent starvation as Israel continues to ignore calls for aid access. Charities’ dwindling supplies cannot meet the needs of a population exhausted by 18 months of war. Systematic destruction of infrastructure has left northern Gaza particularly vulnerable, with no relief in sight.
