Zelenskyy insists on US security guarantees for critical mineral deal | DW News

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says Ukraine has agreed on a framework economic deal that could give the US access to its critical mineral resources. He described the deal as part of a wider agreement – but insists Ukraine needs security guarantees from the United States. US President Donald Trump says the two leaders will meet to sign the agreement in Washington on Friday – but stopped short of offering full security guarantees to Ukraine.
