Trial against anti-govt protesters begins in Turkey | DW News

Friends and family members gathered to show support for 189 people that were arrested in March during massive anti-government protests in Istanbul. The protesters, who gathered in support of jailed Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu, were charged with failing to disperse when ordered to, carrying weapons, inciting crime and covering their faces.
