Prayers and tributes pour in from around the world for Pope Francis

Pope Francis has died at the age of 88, a day after appearing in St Peter's Square in Vatican City to wish worshippers a happy Easter Sunday.

Earlier this year, he was treated in hospital for five weeks with an infection, but had been discharged.
