Trump’s immigration crackdown halts migrant economy boom in Colombia’s Necoclí

More than one point two million migrants from across the globe crossed the Darien jungle between Colombia and Panama in recent years, on their way to the US.
The surge sparked an economic boom in some of Colombia’s poorest regions.
But that wave of prosperity came to a sudden halt under President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.
